    Opel Blitz by Coolbank

I just ran across some info about the Opel Blitz by Coolbank. It's apparently finally available, but I don't have info as to where yet. Here is a screen capture from FB and a video from YT.

Personally, I am glad to see the tank style controller, although others may disagree. My experience with pistol grip controllers is that they fail a lot.
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

Can't find it yet online (AliExpress, Taobao, etc.). No official word, but my sources tell me that Motion RC is planning to offer them, maybe in 4 to 6 weeks. That would reduce shipping costs compared to individual ordering from China. I'll wait, fingers crossed!

I personally can't wait. More cheap fleet trucks in 1/16 please!

I hope that they can keep the price point of the classic 6WD trucks. Under $50? The 4x4 WPL B-24 1/16 RC GAZ-66 Military Truck seems to be sold out everywhere. But the 8 years old Youtube review can still be found.

I have to do a lot of upgrade such as tire, ESC, RC transmitter/receiver etc. on this 6WD truck, but it is fun. The Humvee is fun too. All 1/16 scale. (BTW, Hewitt built only 8x8, this 6x6 RC model is not for a real truck.)

I found a non-military version of the WPL B-24 RC truck at $72 free shipping. It should be easy to repaint to the military version. The B-24 was known for good details and operation. It is a Russian truck.

With roll down windows, drop sides on the cargo bed, headlights and convoy light, hand crank on switch, sound, I think $50 is not likely.

Exactly! I have a few WPL and JJRC military trucks in my collection too. It's like potato chips! You can't have just one!

They won’t ship to US, that’s why it’s unavailable.
Any idea on a US price yet?
I really hope it’s a good quality because the JJRC trucks are absolute junk. Unless they have changed anything. When they came out I bought a couple to remodel into wwii doges first one went 4 feet and spun its gears.

I forgot what price I saw it being sold overseas maybe the $100 range or less? It'll be interesting to see what they jack it up to over here.

Banggood advertises it at $139 USD, shipping included. I bought my first M5 Stuart from there, but can't remember he actual seller. However, I'm told that Motion RC will be importing them, but via a slow boat, so a couple of months or so
