This is the Roban B429 Heli Alps Scale 700 size ARF, a premium scale kit that offers unparalleled detail. From tip-to-tail the B429 body kit displays an accuracy of detail to the real aircraft not normally seen in the RC helicopter hobby.

This kit comes with a full scale detail cockpit with dashboard, joysticks, rudder pedals, aerials, windshield wipers and more. Full rear cabin interiors are included (not installed). Floor and ceiling details can be crafted so once the interiors are installed you have an impressively scaled cockpit/interior.

These scale kits house the cockpit in precisely the right location and the mechanics are built into the engine compartment just like in the full scale version. The B429 really impresses with the highly detailed and accurately scaled down profile.

    • 4 Blade rotorhead and scale carbon fiber rotor blades
    • 4 Tail blade head and scale carbon fiber tail blades
    • Extremely detailed surface with molded panel lines and rivets

    • Complete built In / partially pre-installed position lighting system (Controlled via AUX channel)

Roban Scale Helicopters are intended for modelers who have advanced level building skills. Both ARF and KIT product formats require you to install your own electronics (ESC, servos, motor, etc). KIT product formats also require you to install your own helicopter mechanics. Because helicopter mechanics can vary greatly in size and shape, you may be required to modify the fuselage slightly (including cutting, drilling, etc.) to achieve a perfect fit. Roban fuselages are all handmade from fiberglass and therefore may have slight variation in tolerances between body panels, doors, or windows. These variations do not affect flight performance and can be easily adjusted by an experienced builder with proper tools. These precautions are intended for novice builders; an experienced modeler should have no issue achieving perfect results with these premiere scale helicopters kits.

I think this is where I can put some pics of mine, please let me know if it's the wrong place?

I wanted something different, I've done the Bell 222 600 size and two Airwolfs, a 600 and a 700. My last project was a Funkey Jet Ranger, 550/600 using a stretch 500, I had to machine my main shaft and a lot of other parts, milled and machined 500 bottom half 600 top, anyway onto something different.

So there is no misunderstanding/disclaimer, I purchased this directly from the Roban factory.

It may be packed differently depending where you buy it from.

From China to the UK it took 12 weeks as it came by ship to keep the costs down, you need to be patient. The people at Roban give tracking info and regular updates, answering questions and I found them to be genuine suppliers who really do care about their customers. This is based on my own personal dealings with them.

Whilst working on the nav light wiring, I had to chuckle to myself,,,, There's almost ready to fly and there's almost ready to fly. Mine is the latter as you can see from the pics, it's almost ready to fly.... 😅😁😁😁

This was a nice surprise, the avionics light up. There's a little module in the console, pre wired, ready to plug into a spare RX channel.

Landing lights and a spot light, switched separately wired up and fitted.
I noticed that on the real one there are white flashing marker lights just under each front cockpit door, You can just see them in the middle pic.
After a little more research on the bell website, it stated that some of the executive 429's have a blue cabin light for the passengers, I wired a spare one in. I've also fitted the batteries this way round to try to avoid the nose weight, bottom line is they don't fit side by side. 😅😂😂
