Now if only the water tank was on a Huey or a H-60. Then I'd buy it pronto!

I'd just be happy if there was a PNP version for those of us who would prefer a traditional FBL, and for the tail rotor to be on the correct side. No reason not to run a scale setup (including main rotor rotation) on a setup like this..

Totally agree with you on this one! I believe you can still get the fuselage and all the components. Tail rotor should definitely be on the correct side of the boom! I do like the new GPS stuff, great for people like me that have problems with arthritis in their hands and can’t control as precisely like when I was younger before all my joint issues.

From the flight demo video Motion RC just posted it looks like the collective/altitude stick is self centering. That would be a nightmare in manual mode. Is there a way to quickly disengage that? I suppose you could remove the springs as a last resort

Wow, very nice little helis but that price will keep me away for now, they do look cool though.

                    Hello,
I bought this model but I have a trouble now. It worked perfectly for 3 flights.
But now, the green light flashes when the GPS signal has been found, but I can't arm the helicopter. The batteries are fully charged. Do you have a solution?

                          K
                          Second flight with this heli.
Radio will not "Unlock", does temporarily then Locks up again .I hit Run switch, nothing happens.
                          Rebind, radio batteries?

If it's anything like my MD500, just flipping the run switch won't do anything. First you must hook up battery (TX on first, all switches UP, then run switch to OFF) and let it sit there for as long as it needs to acquire all the satellites it requires (watch the blinky light and read the manual to see what the blinky light does when it's "ready"). Then you move the left stick down and to the left for about 3 - 5 seconds. THEN you flip the switch to run. The tail rotor should spin up first, followed by the main rotor.

Thanks xviper for the reply. Got some fresh AAs for the radio and will review the start up procedures.
Must be something I'm not doing correctly.
                              Thanks again!

I flew my MD500 this morning. The first flight, it took almost 1 minute before it had enough sats. The second flight took about 30 seconds. It depends on the atmospheric conditions at the time to hook up to all the sats it needs. On this brand of heli, I'm not sure how many sats it needs but on some of my other GPS devices on planes and helis, it can require up to 7 sats even on a clear, cloudless day.
PS. Are you with CalFire? I have the Hanger 9 OV-10 Bronco in CDF theme - a beautiful plane. I'm retired from Calgary Fire Dept.

I'm assuming if the helicopter does it's GPS check and acquisition, and the green light flashes, it has found all the satellites it needs.
Maybe not? I'll try again tomorrow.
No, I'm not with Cal Fire, but I am retired from a large county fire department in California. I worked on many assignments for and with Cal Fire.
And yes, that is a beautiful airplane. Good job with the paint and decals.

There are a couple types of green flashes. The final "ready" one is a slower single flash. Before it's ready, you may get a faster double flash.

                                      Thanks for that info.
I'll pay a little more attention to the type of flashes presented.

Have you seen this video? At about minute 6:00, he goes through the initialization and explains about the satellites and the blinking light better than I can.
