That's a Lippy...oh nevermind the brakes, I took it to have the propane filled Tuesday and when I was pulling back in the driveway a kid that was texting ran up under me and tore the whole hitch assembly off and bent part of the rear frame so Wednesday evening I was busy fabricating a new trailer hitch and touching up the paint...the kid was driving his parents new Subaru Impreza which was totaled...no injuries including 25 planes I had already loaded up.

Wonder what the parents thought, they probably bought him the phone and gave him the keys:Thinking:

Just caught Ryanz 'stickering fool' video promoting this Joe Nall event. Definitely gets one fired up... damn, wish I could make it out that way. Hoping to be more prepared for next year's event. Looking forward to all the pics and video to come. Safe travels to all headed out this weekend... as well as those just filling up fuel ( or propane) before heading out. Seriously, be safe and enjoy!:Goodbye:Dynam; E-Flite; FreewingComment

I’ll be there Thursday through Saturday. I’m bringing my F4, A10, P 38 and F7F Tigercat. I will also bring my Dynam Catalina that I added retractable tip floats on, hope to do some flying an the lake. If I have room I may bring the A4 as well. Looking forward to meeting all the Hobby Squak guys.Comment

Right accross the road from it. They would not let us park where we did for eWeek.
We immediately had to remove a black snake that tried to crawl up on the tongue of a neighbor's camper. George found it a new home in the tall grass.
As soon as we got here we set about helping set up the electric flight line. Getting a runway defined, painting lines, putting up signs and pilot stations. Even put up a wind sock I brought.
George was the first to fly...
Some shots of our setup.

Looks like the powers in charge took a lesson from us vocalizing a concern about the length of the grass on the runway last year. ;) Looks nicely groomed short :Cool:Warbird Charlie

The grass on the runway seems a little drier perhaps. It is definitely more compact and firmer. Very nice for sure.Comment
