So! Next two planes we need to see! Boeing 737, Boeing 757. HobbyKing doesn't have those yet. Might warrant some consideration in the Dev departments.
Best Regards
Woody
FYI, If there is a Freewing or Flightline offering prior to this release I would more than likely purchase those instead. There is no telling when this will be up for sale, better get it in gear if ya got a plan. lol
Very interesting, but I too, will wait. I'm still stinging from that 1600mm C-47 "white elephant". If the initial private reports are OK, I'll get one. As with their last C-47, we didn't find out about the bugs till months after the first one was flown by private owners. That's about when we found out that the "fixes" that HK came up with didn't really work.
If the specs i read are correct, 18amp esc's on a 4 cell for 4 motors...........Hmmm, not exactly a beast. I will wait for some flight time from non HK pilots.
I hope this turns out better than the C-47. I realize you can't always tell from pre release chatter, but it sounds like they (HK) may have learned from some recent product short comings and release debacles. I only have a couple of HK products in my hanger, but the ones I have I really like. My Avios BushMule is one of my go to planes and sees as much air time as anything I have.
The C-130 will be a much more complicated and expensive plane than the 'Mule, but I think I will have to give it a shot. I guess I'll be the Guinea Pig.
Here are a few photos of a pre production model from the Avios FB page. Hopefully there will be some video soon.
Seriously Folks, this plane is so over due. I'm just glad I don't have to scratch build one. For me, it never needs to be perfect, honestly speaking from exprience, it's never been perfect no mater who or what brand or vendor I purchase from.
I really like the Motion folks. They know it, but never forget I am thier valued customer.
I have three HK planes, I like them all. They're also my go too planes.
HK is never as friendly as Motion is to deal with, but i have lived and worked around asia most of my life. Thier business ethics are different to say the least.
If ya want the planes you purchase to be like the toys you buy at toys R us, your dreaming.

I don't know if it's a fair comparison, but the Flightline B-24 Liberator runs 4 X 30A ESCs. 18A seems a bit on the "cheap" and barely adequate side.
From what I've seen, I think this ought to be a very good quality model, and I can only hope by now they've learned their lessons from the early Avios offerings (Yak and Sea Fury). HK tends to be almost all or none in quality sometimes. The Durafly warbirds have been fantastic models with excellent fit and finish. I think a lot of their problems with their other models (C-47, Lancaster, ect.) have been very dependent on who the manufacturer is. If it's from the same factory as Durafly, it will be something to look forward to. I do like what I've seen so far. The fowler flaps and scale nosewheel doors are quite impressive. Hopefully the flying qualities and QC are up to the same standard.

Ooh, I also bought into the Sea Fury. That one didn't stay with me for long either. Same goes for their P-40 and Mustang - both less than mediocre. I also remember the Lancaster. Was going to buy one when 2 acquaintances got one and both told me to stay away from it. I hope the 130 will be a higher quality and better thought out model.
My old SkyMule and my present BushMule was and is wonderful planes. No complaints about them at all. Sonic - great. Excalibur - great. Vampire - really good. EFExtra - great. Canadair water bomber - pretty good. Tundra - great.
As much quality issues as the Sea Fury and Lancaster had, I still love flying both of them. Sea Fury has a new power system with a 15" Varioprop, and the Lancaster has been modded with flaps, rudders, and washout. Both fly fantastic now! Hoping that the C-130 won't need all the mod work though. Worst case, even if it goes the way of the Sea Fury I'll just snag it for $99 closeout pricing :Silly:LOL.

I won't buy a model that I know needs modding to work right. However, at 99 bucks, sure, I'll buy one right away and mod the heck out of it. I'd just put the B-24 power system in it. ;)
