Well, in my neck of the woods (Tennessee), there are so many to choose from, but I personally make a trip to "Jacks" on Broadway in Nashville whenever possible. Outstanding pork shoulder and brisket, better than I can smoke myself (which is my measure!).
Any day you can fly is a good day!  :D

Technically, you are correct. They sure were awesome though !

I have a Masterbuilt smoker to handle my "real" barbecue endeavors ;)

Absolute favorite place to grab a tri-tip sandwich up here in the north part of CA is Kinders. They have a handful of locations in the SFO Bay Area but the closest to me is about 30-40 minutes. Well worth the drive!

I have a friend on Whidbey island (near Aros) who owns, at last count, six smokers. I'm sure he must have a Masterbuilt. He cooks for a kids ranch, there. Totally volunteer! Doc

I see someone mentioned Whidbey Islands. I was stationed there at the Navy hospital for four years. We really enjoyed this area much. We must have had the longest runway of any RC club. We used the backup runway that the EA6-B used in Coupeville. This was really good flying in those days with the flags and pins and all. I recall how beautiful deception pass bridge was. I have got to go back for a visit one of these days.

Alright, it's on! I'm officially craving Cooper's BBQ. But, I'm not driving all the way to Llano, Texas to the original. Headed to the Fort Worth location this Saturday!

Thanks guys, I Never thought the HobbySquawk forum would be the source of my hunger!...for food instead of flying😜
