I still have two large plastic tubs of Floquil and one of Poly Scale, all still unopened... Those were just great for model trains and sci-fi models... That is cool that you can still get something like them today!!!

Oh, man - Floquil. There's a name I haven't heard in years. I used to get their railroad colors for customizing HO scale locomotives and rolling stock. I'll have to look up the Archive X brand, and see what they have available.

These are actually enamels. The brand name is Archive X. Its a recreation of the floquil colors used in the 70s by ILM. Floquil is long gone and the colors changed over the years though the names did not. So a die hard builder in the UK sourced all the original floquil colors sent them to a lab and had the colors recreated 100% This paint helps SW models to look "Right" and its a godsend to someone like me. But yes I have the entire Tamiya Arcylic line myself.Originally posted by Hardway View PostLove it... Tamiya thin cement and the fast drying cement too..... I have EVERY color in 17ml from Ammo by Mig, and every color from Tamiya, including the 72-90 minis.... It is an addiction!!! LOL

The model itself is 1,500
I charge friends and family 1500 to build and paint it. Its a ton of hours. So 3k total plus crating and shipping via freight. Its 30lbs and 36" across.
Looks like its actually on sale right now for 1200

What would one of these cost after you finish it?
