I might scoop one up and see how it compares to the 2200/13b combo! :)

For the thrust it puts out, it's relatively efficient. I don't think the difference would be noticeable enough to justify the price difference between both units though. Most people would probably be happy as heck with the XRP power system, especially for the price point. It's a significant difference over the stock unit, as you know LOL.

True... I'm just a sucker for having a variety of different sounds in my fleet. JF, JP, Schubie, FMS, FW, EPF, Taft... They all sound great, but different. Pretty cool!

Hey Alpha10...Do I see a Fly Fly 70mm L-39 hanging on your wall??? Battery space wasn't exactly a premium in it compared to the 90mm HTG one.:)

            Haha! Yup! I've got a couple! Retracts and a CD10/HET 2w-30 on 6s 3300.

Came out perfect with the pack all the way forward! Such a great flier! :)

I know... It's a great kit, but like you said... We've been spoiled with the new generation of tech.

I still love my FLY FLY and HTG kits though... Great Winter projects when you don't mind the time. :)

I'm hoping either Freewing or FMS will come up with either 70,80 or 90mm version of the L-39 soon...They are such great flying & easy to land planes..

Yeah! An 80mm rocket would be sweet!

I'd even take a nice A4 in that size as well! :)
