For the thrust it puts out, it's relatively efficient. I don't think the difference would be noticeable enough to justify the price difference between both units though. Most people would probably be happy as heck with the XRP power system, especially for the price point. It's a significant difference over the stock unit, as you know LOL.

True... I'm just a sucker for having a variety of different sounds in my fleet. JF, JP, Schubie, FMS, FW, EPF, Taft... They all sound great, but different. Pretty cool!Originally posted by T-CAT View PostFor the thrust it puts out, it's relatively efficient. Haha! Yup! I've got a couple! Retracts and a CD10/HET 2w-30 on 6s 3300.Originally posted by HellHathNoFury View PostHey Alpha10...Do I see a Fly Fly 70mm L-39 hanging on your wall??? Battery space wasn't exactly a premium in it compared to the 90mm HTG one.:)
Came out perfect with the pack all the way forward! Such a great flier! :)

I know... It's a great kit, but like you said... We've been spoiled with the new generation of tech.Originally posted by HellHathNoFury View PostBeen thinking about getting one of those again & putting just a FMS 70mm unit onto it ...Kit only is sooo cheap but after having Jets lately that have easi connectors & screw only fittings...Why bother with gluing anymore..haha..
I still love my FLY FLY and HTG kits though... Great Winter projects when you don't mind the time. :)
