Hey guys ,I have an rx600 on my turbo jet which has about 6 flights on it now.
today I went to fly it and the gyro would not initialize.
the reciever worked great flew with no issues.
It started working all pf tje sudden when I installed the 3rd pack and worked fine for 3more flights.

    Any thoughts?
    (sorry for run ons)

UPDATE - Yes it will work facing to the ground.
    1. Bind as usual
    1. Configure Gyro as mode (C) / On-Off toggle
    2. Mount to plane pins facing the ground / Pin Connectors forward to nose
    3. Power up and check Stabilizer throw direction
    4. Diconnect power
    5. Re-Mount stabilzer facing the ground / Pin Connectors rearward to the tail
    6. Check Stabilizer throw direction

Not that I know of. Are you sure it's not in recovery?

i wonder if binding it while installed inverted would do anything.

Yes you can. I use this rx on my F4 and B24 both of which use an external bec.

I had to yank the Admiral out of my HoB Cub. I never figured out how to get the Bind switch to change modes for a given combo with a DXe transmitter. Going back to the original Spektrum 400 RX I had planned without a gyro. That said I will mess with the Admiral after my new TX (DX6) arrives and find another model to put it in.

It's easy. All it takes is setting the dip switches forvwing type on the rx.

I read a post here a while ago that said instead of using a MIX on a DX8G2, you could assign a toggle switch to GER, and program it for 100% and -105%, where the 0 position in combo A is Gyro and the 1 position is Recovery. That worked, although in Recovery with the alternating Red and Green LEDs, sometimes the Red one quits and I just get a pulsing Green. Probably a bad connection on the Red. In any case, it switches modes without a MIX.

I believe it's all done in the RX. The TX is set up for "normal" wing.

I think your "peers" are not very well informed as to how the Lemon product works. They probably are turning their noses up at the name "Lemon". Many of us have been using Lemon products for years and they have proven to be as good if not better than Spektrum RXs. There is a 12 page instruction manual that you can download for that RX.

    Buy the lemon plus !
lemon can program level. This Admiral is set , you have to mount it level. It dives like crazy . I was told to mount it with the back up 10 degrees. Well it still dives bit eventually will get level. I've tried beginner and advanced ( green / blue )
This doesn't hold a candle to a safe receiver .

Anyone out there have experience setting up the Admiral RX600SP with a Spektrum DX7s? If so , I'd like some info on how to set the mixes to turn stability on/off. I can't seem to find that info in the documentation for the RX or for the DX7s

No need to be sad..........the reluctance was because I do know a lot about this technology but I don't profess to know it all thus the reason for saying I learned something while taking your word on it.;)

The only way it would self level is if you were in recovery mode and you continually held down the bind button/recovery button. In which case the plane would be hard to fly because it will be trying to stay level. That is because it's a recovery function not a bank limiting training aid. This is only with recovery function being activated.

similar but different safe has beginner, intermediate and experienced modes as well as some of the self leveling features. Also when you hit the panic button the plane recovers.

ours is a stabilizer that can easily be set to have the desired gain you want. With ours you must hold the recovery button down until you achieve the desired result. This is because the rx is not designed for any particular plane. The end user is the one who determines when the desired result has been reached.

if I'm inverted and I just tap the recovery button it will only begin to recover. I must hold it down until the plane has righted itself, as demonstrated in the video.
OK, thank you for comments above. I believe that I understand. It might be helpful to ask, as well, what does the LemonPlus do that the Admiral does not? This might help also to more clearly identify the differences.
