    Hey Chris,
Any thoughts on doing this with a 64mm, or would that be too small do you think? I just ordered my first edf jet today and since it's my first I went small, but this thing looks awesome. I am getting the Freewing Stinger 64.

      Hey guys,

Just a quick note here. There’s been some discussion on input voltage. Do not exceed more than a 2s lipo for voltage input. There have been a couple issues when using 3s and above. If using 3s or more, a bec or voltage regulator is necessary otherwise you may burn out the leds.

Regarding having units back in stock, I will have a limited number available this next week. We’re working on the next batch now but had a little issue with the leds so working that now. Hopefully that won’t delay things too much.

The difficulty of the 64mm becomes cost as the system may cost close to as much as the airplane it’s going in. I will look into it though as I’ve had a couple requests.

          Hey Guys,

I have just added a few units into inventory which are available now. I'm waiting on controllers to arrive and will more available next week once those are in hand. The 80mm inrunner design should be ready by then too. I appreciate your patience!

Unfortunately so. I released only what I had enough controllers for. I will have more controllers next week hopefully and then will have more available then.

Here is a video of my Tomcat with the RC-Geek's Centerburner Twin setup. I lined the exhaust with HVAC foil tape to amplify the effect. I think this setup is really innovative and adds a lot to this already "too cool" jet.

Demonstration of the Twin Center Burner setup in the Radio Controlled Freewing F-14. The exhaust is lined with HVAC silver foil tape to magnify the Afterburn...

I know it’s kind of a stupid question but... will using a 12v UBEC burn them up?

I have one, it works great.
The manual strongly emphasized not to exceed a 2-cell lipo.

The output of a usual BEC is about 6v. You have a BEC that's feeding 12V to your receiver?
I just used a separate small 2-cell Lipo for the afterburner and installed a JST connector.

running these on 12v will burn them up. IF using a BEC, I'd recommend setting about 7.2v or so.
