I've been staying away from the Orange receivers and the combo receiver/gyros. The only time I have had a brownout and crash was with the Orange stuff. The gyro is probably fine by itself. Not much difference in price from the Eagle brand.

I hear ya, I'm using them primarily to replace old 72Mhz receivers in park flyer size planes that have somehow survived this long  :P . Slowing phasing out my Futaba 8U and Hitec Txs.
