  • Eagle a3 Gyro set-up

I have an eagle A3 Gyro, apparently stuck in 3 D mode? Flashing red led. How do I get out. I have tried resetting per instructions. Hold menu button and power up. Doesn't seem to work.

Do you have the MOD port on the A3 connected to anything? If not, it should default to "normal", which is the blue light. If you have it on a 2-way switch, then you need to have assigned that port on the RX to that switch. Same for if you are using a 3-way switch. If you've assigned the gain to a rotary knob, then you can have 3 of the 4 possible flight modes, depending on how you programmed it. There is no "3D" mode on the A3, only the A3-L. Solid red on the A3 is "auto-balance". I haven't seen a flashing red on either. It might mean something is wrong in the set up.
As far as I can recall, you don't hold the button as you power up. That menu button is used after it's powered up. Hold it for a few seconds and it goes into program mode. Did you download the manual from the webpage?
