Hey guys, I have some Hobby Coat, but which would you prefer for the yellow to stand out and shine for my Waco? Hobby Coat, Varathane or Poly or is there something else you would recommend? I have used the Hobby Coat before but never anything else. I would like to start detailing my models a little more from now on.

Thanks Boomer, I'll have to see about getting some and try it. I think if I remember correctly I remember one of the guys saying it was only at varathane!

Just replaced a nacelle on the Tigercat as the motor mount was giving me grief. Second coat of Minwax Spar Varathane Gloss on it now. I let it set for at least 8 hours between coats even after hair drying it. By the third or fourth, I'm getting the results I want. Really helps the Pearl stand out as well!!
