  • March Warbird Madness Challenge is LIVE!

Hello everyone. Having a fun contest this month. It's time for you to vote! Let's find out just which aircraft is the tops in our Motion RC March Warbird Madness. We aggregated a bunch of lists to find the 32 best propeller-driven Warbirds and 32 best jets (WW2 or Later), shuffled them up and laid them out in this tournament-style bracket. You vote and decide who advances and accrue points if you choose what the masses have chosen correctly. Join us for the fun all March long!

    Rules are as follows:

    Entry Rules:
    1. Must have an active Motion RC account to enter.
    2. The email address used to enter must match the email address from your active Motion RC account. Entry happens
    3. Must be 18 years or older.
    4. No purchase necessary.
    5. Max Entrants = 1000 (contest will close if we hit 1000)
    6. Entry ends on March 12th, 2019 at 5:59pm EST
    Contest Rules:
    • You will be voting on each matchup per round. You will collect points per each correct vote (your selection advancing). Results of each round will display when the round completes and the next round will then open to voting. Each round is weighted, so even if you select 32 wrong selections in rd 1, you can still make up ground in the ensuing rounds.
    • Each round will award 10 points for each correct option selected in the bracket. The points will double each round as the number of bracket options is cut in half. This means that each round will be worth the same amount of overall points and gives the later selections a bit more weight for getting them correct. For example, if we have a contest with 16 total bracket options, the score would be 80 possible points for the first 8 matches, then round two would also be worth 80 points because the 4 remaining matches of 8 options would be worth now 20 points for the correct selection. This pattern continues until the final round of your bracket promotion.
      • Rd 1 voting is live now and will end March 12th at 6:00pm EST
      • Rd 2 begins on March 12th at 6:01pm EST and ends March 15th at 6pm EST
      • Rd 3 begins on March 15th at 6:01pm EST and ends March 18th at 6pm EST
      • Rd 4 begins on March 18th at 6:01pm EST and ends March 21st at 6pm EST
      • Rd 5 begins on March 21st at 6:01pm EST and ends March 25th at 6pm EST
      • Rd 6 begins on March 25th at 6:01pm EST and ends March 31st at 6pm EST
      • Winner announced April 1st
    • The person with the highest score at the end will be the winner.
    • If multiple people score the same amount of points at the end, those pilots will be entered into a random draw.
    • Winner will be declared on Monday, April 1st and will receive their prize as long as their email address matches there active Motion RC account.
    Prizes:
    • Prizes will be in gift cards of various designations determined by the number of entrants (more people, higher gift card) Max possible is $200 gift card to the grand prize winner. Since this is the first time doing anything like this, we are completely unsure of the number of entrants we may get. Sp Spread the word to all your Motion RC friends!
    • We will determine the prize when the entry period ends on March 12th, either way, it's free money and a bit of fun!
Follow this link to start voting, after you have voted the first 32 match-ups you will be able to enter: Use your Motion RC (.com or .eu) email address to enter only!

So glad people are signing in. Obviously, I can see the stats thus far and some tight races. Things will pick up once the entry period ends on March 12th. Need time to get people to enter. Then the other rounds don't last as long. We will have some very intriguing rd 2 match-ups!

Some choices were tough. In order to be in the running, you have to choose what you think the popular choice is vs. the one you like the best. Like some of the awesome axis birds:Cool::)

Hit 100 entrants thus far. Some close 1st round matchup's happening and some blow outs. Can't wait to get to Rd 2, then a leaderboard will appear and everyone can see the results.

Close to 150 entrants thus far. Some real close 1st round matchup's happening where the planes keep swapping the lead with every few new entrants. Some blow-outs as well, can you guess the biggest blow-out thus far? Can't wait to get to Rd 2, then a leaderboard will appear and everyone can see the results from rd 1 and their scores.

I'm guessing the B-17 blowing out the Wellington. Or possibly the B-52 against the YAK-9

Biggest blowout has to be the SR71 over the F111
