Sanding stage is where you do a LOT of good, but don't see it until you apply the covering or paint.
FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

current planes from 1/2 oz to 22 lbs

It sure is the big pay off. Funny how much you put on just to take most of it back off. No Rain today so I'm very happy. With this model I'm only sanding to 320 instead of my normal 800 I do for scale. Monokote and duct tape don't need a very fine surface to look good. Off to it !

Well, what ya know finished covering on everything but the rudder. Ran out of time, Panel lines and rivet out side of the rudder finished. I should have the rudder pined and covered in the a.m. Then its paint and installing radio gear, fuel tank engine. Didn't really have time for pictures today so I'll post some tomorrow.

              Night all!!

Well, started paint today, rudder install is finished. I still think I will duct tape the rudder as well.

Yes I like the colors, I should see her a lot better now. I've started putting everything back into her today . fuel tank, servos, engine. Last night I reworked the cockpit as my pilot was just a tad to tall. Pictures later today I hope.

They are calling for rain this weekend, hope not. I should be ready maybe by Sunday if no rain. Still playing with the C.G. and I've started the programming. Got to love Spektrum. R.P.M. 's right from the radio.
