Today's livestream at 9:00pm EST will cover a live tutorial for CAD drawing 3DP exhaust nozzles, in this case for the MiG-29's RD-33. Prepare any questions you might have to ask me live in the chat, and I'll do my best to answer them while I'm drawing. It's a fun challenge to multi-task!

Yeah cool stuff! Put me right back in my days going to school for CADD. The Ol' Autodesk Days. I miss tinkering with 3D model programs, this just may be the kick in the hiney I need.

I really like this, the nozzle design lesson was great, thanks Alpha! Subscribed. Unfortunately 2100 EST is 3am over here in Germany and I’m not a night owl. So I have to watch the recordings. I’m using Fusion360 since 2,5 years now (started as total CAD noob) and it’s great to see how a CAD pro works with it. It would be nice if it would be possible to see the menu inputs as well. This is what really helps to learn things. I guess Alpha is working on it.
Will those MiG 29 upgrade files designed during the sessions become available at some point in time? Sorry to ask if this has been already answered...
One more request for another part: How about the prominent gun port on the port side?
Printers here are a Prusa Mk3s and a recently acquired Anycubic Photon S.

That would be awesome! 9pm CEST would be OK, but as a retired Air Traffic Controller I’ve got a lot of time for the hobby. Let’s hear what’s best for other European participants.

Alpha Thanks for the Livestream! I never realized there was a free version of Fusion360. I've tried using Sketckup but this is a game-changer.

CM_Aero You're welcome! Hopefully I can help shed a light on this free-to-use software that is at least 75% as capable as the costly software we use to design our full production models at Freewing, Skynetic, etc. For the average hobbyist, Fusion is more than capable of tackling most everyday jobs, and it outputs to Cura seamlessly for 3D printing.

I am going to test another livestream time window this Friday at 8pm EST. Chime in if this does or does not work for you.

I'm still mind blown and impressed when we were in the Live Stream when Alpha was drawing the MiG-29 exhaust nozzles, and he said if he weren't demonstrating then he could draw it in a minute and a half. LOL. If that's true, then wowsers.

That episode was so much. The 3D modeling seems like it opens up an entirely new world for me. It's inspiring and I love anything inspirational.
