Hmmm, I did. For some reason, it seemed to be treating the Blakeslee photo differently than the plane photos. So, I deleted the Blakeslee photo. Can you see them now? if not, I'll delete than post and do another one.Originally posted by Grossman56 View PostI see the one of Don Blakeslee but nothing else. Last night, I finished detailing my 1.1m Durafly Spitfire Mk Vb. I chose to model Don Blakeslee's 133rd Eagle Squadron plane. I used both the standard decal set and a Spitfire Nomenclature set. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and as a tribute to one of the great fighter leaders/commanders of the war. (Note, the photo of Blakeslee is while he was still flying in his RCAF squadron, before being transferred to command the 133 Eagle Squadron)

Here is my scratchbuilt ERJ-145XR. Callie gave me the vinyl for the Delta tail logo as part of my order, but I decided to paint it instead.4 Photos

That's one amazing woman with graphic design. Excellence with model planes.

I think that maybe that is where I messed up a year or so ago...I did not order correct material. I have a design with angular lines and placed an order. Design arrives with with multiple vinyl piece of different shapes and colours. So I guess I should have ordered decal material like we find on plastic model planes and have that printed with the design on one piece. I never did really cover it with her much, simply told here it would not work for me and threw it all out. It would take too much time and effort to trim and cut to fit all the pieces on the wings. Completely my fault.

I believe so, all the one I got from her have had the backing on them that you peel off and place the decal on the surface, then rub over the top paper to anchor it , then peel the top paper off. I don't know whether she does water slides.......

A question about Callie's. What is the difference between decals from her and vinyl decals? If that made sense. If I want a 'sticker' with multiple colors or designs do I order a decal?
