    Yep, they're foamies! One is the FMS P 40B1400mm and the other is the Freewing P51D. Both are covered with Flite Metal. The wings on the P51 are painted as per WWII in the early versions of the D model as they sanded the wings for smoothness, then painted them.

    You did a tremendous job Aros . Silver is one of the more challenging re-paints and yours is spot on, congratulations on a job well done. I have a soft spot when it comes to the P-51 in that sliver should be the predominant color (just my bias), and you nailed it!

    It's insane how many amazing jobs that folks have done in this thread. What a tribute to not only Callie, but everyone who has taken the time to repaint their models. I haven't been as active in this thread as I should have been. I wanted to honor Callie lately and in doing so, I honor all of your fantastic work with your models!
