Got another one, the Dynam BF-110 in Hungarian Air Force markings by Callie. No intention for accuracy, just my interpretation.

Tony, I want the BH FW-190 really badly. Doesn't it look friggin' awesome?!!! It'd definitley take a big motor. I was contemplating an EFlite Power 160 for it. But, I haven't done the math, to see if that'd work.

[edit] Just checked. It looks like it'd need a Power 360-class of electric motor. Big Motor... :-)

Chuck, the 109 should be powered great with that set up! When you contact Callie to order, just let her know the finish you want. She's great about hooking us up with what we need.

I've been eyeballing the big BH Fw-190 too. I've got a 100cc electric set up that would bolt right in. The "in stock" status and funding availability just haven't come together yet.

If I decide to get a bird that's over the 100cc threshold, I'd like have to take the step up to gas.

I promised myself 2021 will be the year I set up and fly my first gasser. I think I am going to start with the BlackHorse Piper Cub and an NGH 9cc 2-stroke. I have many guys at my club that can show me the ropes of breaking in an engine. Once I feel comfortable, then I hope to convert the Zero from the GP60 electric to our Admiral 60cc Engine.
James, I'm talking big. I'm an electrics-only guy. Honestly, I have no real desire to get into gas/nitro/glow, with one exception... I'd love to have a big Moki radial in a giant-scale warbird. There's nothing like the sound of a radial!!!

Are you going to build/fly the big Blackhorse FW-190? That one is on my bucket list for someday (hopefully, not too far in the future).

Tony, I forgot to answer the second part of your question. The power train is an EFlite Power 90-325kv, MAS 16x10x3, 8S-5AH battery. I put it on a wattmeter yesterday, and this power train pulls 2270W and 78A (static, of course), which gives the Emil a static power-to-weight around 150 W/lbs. She should have plenty of power. :-)
