I hear you, thats where you need a drone to scan the corn fields, or a GPS on the plane.
One of the fellas had that exact thing happen to him a few months back, apparantly walked right underneath it a few times before he found it.
I thought I'd lost P-2 when she lawn darted behind some out buildings.  Don't know exactly what happened after she went out of sight, but we looked for almost an hour before we found her.
Yep, Cody's great, except for the wind.  A friend of ours was kind enough to let us fly on her property right across the street from the Ponderosa Camp ground.  Its in a small gully so I get a little wind blockage, thanks Linda!!!

Our Hobby Shop here has a really good Black Friday sale, so I am kind of holding off spending anything until then. They have some nice FMS Mustangs that have been sitting there for several months, and often he will mark them down half. I'll be waiting at the door for them to open Friday!! Then I will check the on-line sales! My wife can run to the mall, but not me, I will hitting the hobby stuff! :-)

I'm not sure if it's any indication of what MRC has in mind for their Black Friday Sale, but the web site is indication 10% off and Free Shipping on Planes, Heli's and accessories and it appears to cover the same date range as the Model Aviator ad.

I don't mean to sound unappreciative, but I'm hoping for a bit more and besides we already get free shipping.

We'll see.......

Yeah, I have to admit, I was expecting a little bit better than that too, but they could be holding back.  Customer appreciation possibly, after all, they know how much we support them, maybe throw in a t shirt with sales over $100, because, as Rocketeer Bill says, we all ready get free shipping.  They had a deal not long ago when they were including a receiver when you bought an airplane, that would be good too!

There are a few at 40% and the scratch and dent stuff.

Maybe, the few sale items will rotate.

So, just pulled the trigger on the P55B, did the MEGATEN coupon discount.  Total bill was 467.39 (with two Eagle A3l gyros, an AR610 receiver and a 3600 battery, the Admiral Pro one, what the heck) when the coupon applied was when I realized that the only thing you get the discount on is the airplane.  $31 instead of $46, so beware, I was dissappointed but the main page specifies airplanes multi rotors and receivers.

Maybe there will be a suprise in the box, we'll see

dang, now they have the P51B in snoots sniper color scheme for $279.99!!
Lets do the math here, $314.99 minus 10% is $283.49.  $279.99 minus 10% is $251.99.  The difference is $31.50 that I paid for a different color scheme.
That sucks!!

Sounds like you caught it - all though it sounds like it was a bit too late.

Yeah, the more I hear, it sounds like the MRC "Mega" deals are anything but.

Yeah, I was a little choked at first, I mean, I could have got that color scheme and a set of decals and painted it myself.
But hey what the heck.  I could have bought it a month ago for $299 and suffered the consequences, right dear!!!???

I just wish that the rotating deals thing was just a straight out discount on all, I really didn't want to be sitting here for hours on end hoping that what I wanted would go on sale.
Hopefully, this will be a learning experience for MRC as well.
I'll feel much better when it lands on my doorstep!!

tomorrow she arrives! worse than a little kid, but hey, at my age its nice to know something can still get you excited!
I'd just like to say that I got a little upset there and wish to apologize, that isn't what this post was meant for.  We all have our moments I guess and I think I made amends elsewhere on the forum site.

So, of course, the camera will be out when I start getting into the P51B, what a great addition to my fleet, although it cost me.  I had to promise to keep it down to one plane per year!!
Can't really complain as I now have 6, and thats since May!
Looking so forward to next May when me and the wife take the 'One Week to Solo' course in Shawano, Wisconsin with Dave Scott.  It'll be a real flying adventure and you can bet I'll keep you all up to date as we take the course.  Once I get her bitten by the bug, things might change, 'dear you need a new plane!' :angel:
