Have you flown it after completion of the mods and paint? I’m a bit curious how it holds up with airframe flex in flight. I painstakingly covered one of my models in aluminum tape, taking pains to get it perfectly down with no wrinkles. After the maiden flight, the wing section came back with lots of wrinkles from the airframe flex.Originally posted by t33jetman View PostNo fiberglass on this plane.

Help!, I have a problem. I recently purchased a FMS 1700 mm v3 Corsair and my problem is with the landing gear. I disconnected the Reflex and connected everything to an AR-630 and when I retract the gear, the doors close ahead of the wheels….any thoughts??

Had an 'incident' with my 7 year old Pandora. A repair to the wing spar failed and she suddenly found gravity. Time to put her through the shop and change to paint scheme.
Before:
And after:
I also had a buddy's Pandora on the bench, he liked my Bearcat paint scheme so we did something similar on his Pandora:
We'll have a veritable Flying Circus the way we're going!
I stiil have my yellow on and he has one more as well.
Too much fun!!

I had this Flightline P-38 for several years. Eventually it was worn out and I decided to scrap it. Here's a couple of pics on a summer's day at my old airfield. The plane has the markings of the one flown by Col. Hubert "Hub" Zemke who took over as commander of the 479th Fighter Group after their commander was shot down and captured by the Germans. Really loved flying this plane. Might get another someday, who knows?

Got a a good flight on my fairly new F-4N this morning. Beautiful start to the day, just a light crosswind from the left. I think I'm starting to get theselandings down the way I want on this airplane. This was flight #13, not much in most F-4 flyers' minds, but a good start for me. Love the plane with the afterburner lights and brakes! Heart Mountain, WY in the background.

Thanks, Aros. This is a Far cry from the stock kit! At first I thought I could just just paint that gawdawful blue to olive drab. But you know how that goes. I discovered that every decal and marking was off, so I stripped the whole thing down and completely redid everything.
I believe this rendition is as close as I could get to how Col. Christian’s plane looked shortly before his last mission that he was killed on attacking a rail depot in France.
I was taken by his sad end, after a stellar rise through the ranks to command a new fighter group, the 361st Yellowjackets in the 8th AAF. He was also the great grandson of General Stonewall Jackson of Civil War fame.
This is the second EFlite P-51 I’ve done. The first was donated to the museum in Bottisham England that was their base for part of the war, in his memory.
I enjoy flying it.

Thanks but... to an extent!
You haven't seen me fly the other jets like I do with the Su... that airframe is special!
(EF got close though!)
