Have you looked around at the average rc flyer out there?
The "some" encompasses the majority and thusly becomes a non marketable product to the masses which the manufactures want nothing to do with.

I'm not gonna lie, a well done B-36 would be a must-have for me. But, I agree that the fans would likely have to be false. 6 Pushers alone would be enough complexity for a stock model. However, the are enough industrious modders on this forum that there would be EDFs added in before you could blink ;).
