If we’re going with the sword aspect of “foil”; I say F7U “Cutlass”

Okay, so here is a thought for you. A "Foil" is a "Fenc"ing weapon. So, to go along with the swing wing theories, and incorporate this into them, maybe it is the Su-24 Fencer.

We may know something soon as Pilot Ryan hinted in the Joe Nall 2018 Information video a few days back that an 'announcement' would be made at Joe Nall. Not sure whether the event cancelation will affect Motion's plans or not?

T-39 Sabreliner? After all, they did ask if there’s interest in an airliner!

There is a man in Texas that scratch built a Sabreliner. He is attending the Jet Jam next month in Southern Indiana.

F-100 would be OK I guess. With that small intake they'd need a cheater intake for sure! I'm not fond of cheaters because they like to suck up grass clippings after our runway has been mowed. When that happens, the cheater grill gets partially covered, the thrust drops, and the darned jet won't take off. Also makes a mess on the LE of the fan blades with the cuttings that make it through the grill.

I'm afraid I'm in the minority when it comes to my favorite jets, which are Korean War and Cold War jets - F9F Cougar; F-86 Sabre; F4D Skyray; F-106 Delta Dart; F-101 Voodoo; and B-58 Hustler.
F-101 and B-58 would be nice, but the F-100 is a sexy aircraft. BTW the B-58 would be a paved only runway with those long and spindly landing gear.

                      EK~

Either way I'm sure its on the water now as they were going to unveil it at the nall right? There is such a small flight window in Northern Wisconsin I would like to see this plane in my hand by mid June!

If I were a betting man, considering that MRC was going to announce project Foil at Nall, and assuming whatever the plane is already on the water, I’d bet that it is announced and debuted at Jet Jam. That’s only a few weeks away and Pilot Ryan and Captain Mike are scheduled to be there. Heck, I’m going !

One month from now I’ll get to see the FOIL at NEFI. It’s pretty impressive that these projects aren’t leaked out! Seems like a year since Aros announced it but it’s just a couple months. Oh the anticipation!!! The suspense!!
Yeah, the big reveal will probably be Jet Jam. What is it???

                                  Ya know Edwin,

I'm a life long aviation junkie, been a real life pilot for many years, my great uncle's pilot license was signed by. "Orville Wright". I honestly have never heard of a B-58?? Let alone it was made by Convair, I'm kinda of a Convair 440, and 580 fan. I've never seen that plane before, but I can say hands down that is one cool plane.

                                  Best Regards

I'm still with some others here, I'll stick with the, "Saber Jet". Yea a foil is a fencing weapon, but I tend to think of Foil as Aluminum Foil, IE all metallic surface. IE Saber Jet.

On another note, a "Saber Liner", is not an airliner, it was/is a VIP Jet. I would probably spring for one of these, as I use to ride in one occasionally. I never thought the Saber Liner was a particularly good looking jet, but it had one advantage. It was seriously built like a flying tank. It was capable of flying thru some bad weather, that other VIP transports wouldn't dare try. For that and many other reasons it was a desired jet, It's my opinion the same vintage jets that won out in the looks department were the, "Gulfstream Jets", and the, "Lockheed Jetstar". I'd like to see models of both of those, Jetstar might be hard to do. In my opinion though, nether would be as popular as a nice Lockheed Super Constellation. If you want to get the industries and customers attention build a Super Constellation. Everything else I mentioned here is just a cult classic.
