Aw man. I lay awake at night thinking about my chance to meet Captain Mike, and Pilot Ryan. Now being a west coast resident, I'm just going to have to be happy with the "B" team. Just kidding man. I'm a very busy person like yourselves, so I understand your logic completely. You folks are great and the hall mark of the industry in my Opinion.Originally posted by James.MotionRC View Post
I hear you OV-10, but I meant as a company. Sure we have been represented by numerous members of our customer family at events, but we are starting (trying) to get going to events our self with our staff is all I meant.
We don't always want to rely on our customers to do it, we want to be there too. NEFI, luckily, is right in Ryan and Mike's backyard so it's an easy trip for them to get there, but Ryan and Mike have full-time jobs so it's tough to get them out to other shows around the country and now across the Atlantic.
We hope to be going to many more shows as our company grows as well as having our great friends like Tony Accurso and Victor Checkcinco on the West Coast, George Baker and Steve Hodges on the East Coast representing us.
I have a question though. I red a post on one of the other web sites. The post said MRC attempted to create a C-130 model, couldn't get it to fly well and gave up on the project. To be honest I really didn't believe it, seriously. I figured if you could get a Phantom Jet to fly well, (when every knows a real Phantom had the glide ration of a brick) then it would seem the C-130 air frame would be much easier to work with, how could this be?
My question is is there any truth to this post?
Probably going to order me an A-4 next week.
Best Regards
Woody
PS, I'm sticking to my guns here. I think you're giving us an EA6-B. Did I win? My second guess would be an A-7. Second guess is because the A-7 is a beautiful Iconic US Navy Plane, and no one has done one. I don't think there is any relevance to the name and the plane. As a matter of fact I think there might be a bit of a shell game happening here, LOL. No insult intended, heck if I were in your shoes I might do the same thing.

Interesting choice, new guy, two posts. Hmmmm. Could be the honest truth.Originally posted by alibakhti View PostIt is a MIG17 90mm.....

If it is a Mig 17, I can't help but wonder what there reasoning would be. I'm certain they would have sold a lot more EA6-B's or A-7's. Simply my opinion.

Yea I stand corrected, but ya know what I mean, a nice super scale one with retracts on par wit the Freewing Phantom. Nice plane mate. I'm going to prep my Freewing F-8 pretty soon. Will surly need some reinforcing in the chin scoop as well.

the scoop was a little oversize and would catch on landing every time. I put the early EFlite Hawk motor/fan in it and it’s a rocket.Originally posted by Woodcock View Post

Horizon has no control over FMS production ( or quality for that matter). They post ETA dates given to them from FMS. Something else I've seen is ETA dates pushed a month than received a shipping notice later that day. That just happened with the Hellcat and Cherokee. Ya just never know.Originally posted by rifleman_btx View PostAs long as it isn't the fms models F16C ver 2. Lol. Horizon said it was expected late july as well and it's still says preorder.LOL

Do you "pre- order" or just hope there's sufficient stock when you want it? Look at Motion almost every new release gets sold out due to pre-orders. Distributors and dealers estimate demand because they can't afford to get hung with product it cost money and that's how the real world works.Me if something shows up and I really want it I pre-order and have it on the first run.Originally posted by rifleman_btx View PostAnd the f16 is in stock at horizon, talk about getting something right by a hair lol
