Would the F-15 prove to be too much of a challenge if I am able to handle the Bae Hawk? How about the A-10?
Go for the A-10, it is the best EDF you will fly in my opinion, flies slow, fast and very well inverted, sounds awesome and looks great in the air, just pay attention when you land it, nice flare on the mains at just the right speed will make you smile, mess that up and you won't be smiling, the F-15 is a great flyer too, lands heavy but very easy to land, nice approach with full flaps and speed brake out looks great, not the fastest jet by no means but looks great in the air and will do wheelies on take off and landing if you get the CG and speed just right, but it is kind of small compared to the A-10 and other jets....

I own both the F-15 is a dog and underpowered. The A-10 is awesome from a to Z.

DD, the A-10 is a kitten in the air. Short takeoff roll on pavement, however, the challenge is keeping her flying through touchdown.

My first check flight, she was a buckin' and flyin' and buckin' and stallin' and buckin' ad nauseam.

Results: Badly scraped wing tip, nose gear retract, axle pin, and front wheel replacement.

All since repaired, but lesson learned.

Point is power on landing which is actually easier anyway for me.

The A-10 was my first aircraft after returning to RC after a 25+ years away.

    IMHO, Go for it.

    Best, LB

Hi all, I just pushed the button on the F-15C and am going 8S... I thought screw it , why not! Could one of you kind gentlemen direct me to a photo of the battery install on 8S for me? I'm planning on using 2x 4S 4000 unless somebody tells me differently?

ID:	369036 Hi there, is there a good acrylic grey color match to use with the airbrush? tamiya, hobby color, mr.paint... or so? thank you
TD, that's a good question. To match the OEM colors, I go to Home Depot with a panel from the model and have it color matched in exterior latex sample size jar. But to airbrush that is difficult, ask me
how I know.. Hang in there, someone might have a answer for you; otherwise the HD Behr paint is a plan B. Best, LB

TD, the introduction of FreeWing's Eagle precedes my tenure here, otherwise I might have had better answers for you. It is on my 'bucket list' however. Post pics if that suits you. Always, like seeing how everyone finishes out their models, even if that is 'bone stock'. Best, LB

TD, Welcome to Hobby Squawk, SIr. Be patient, there is great info here and another member will no doubt have an answer for you. That said, the manual setups are a good place to start, though I usually find a 'mean or average' CG suggestion from the posts of the airframe I am finishing and go from there. Hope I have helped some. Best, LB
