when I got out of the navy in 73 they said I could have any sq I wanted and 10 grand to ship over... so every sq I asked for was full so I said what ya got then? chief says the blue angels... I said a few explatives and became a civilan...at the time they had f4's and they had to wax em every week I think it was..a lot of work lol so...id take the blue angle f18 over the gray but I voted for both lol

For me, grey airplanes are hard to see. Combine that with I really am not interested in painting a brand new airplane, so the Blue Angles scheme is my preference.

I would like to see both...I never really cared for the F-18 or the BA liveries but after seeing the demo video I think I'm in for the BA...appears to fly just as good as it looks

I like the BA scheme but my son just got out of the Navy in Lemoore where the F-18s are grey, so I feel I would need to do that scheme.

I think it will be the BA for me also, it just looks awesome, can't wait for this one to get here, might be awhile though if they are just going into production.:(:)

Both but I can easily make a blue plane gray and get another blue later if that is what it comes down to.

With a legendary F/A 18 it has to be a Blue Angel version. If it was a super hornet then I’d say grey. Love my FMS super hornet. Super excited for this Blue Angel though.

Would have to do it grey and VFA-136 Knighthawks markings . I will definitely be getting one.

                              Alpha,

Been watching the progress with great interest and I'm very tempted to order a gray one when available. One thing I can't help but notice is missing is the very distinctive red tail strobe. I have seen the videos and the amount of scale details are incredible, and I know it seems trivial, but I think this would be a really great thing to add to the production version. Perhaps a re-work from the white strobe to twin red strobes? Would be much more accurate. Looking forward to seeing the release date!!

I hope MRC continues to show early releases. I like knowing what's coming down the pike, even if it's not due in for a couple of months. Thanks Alpha.

I”m so looking forward to the base gray. I’ve been waiting for a long time to see great 90mm version of the F/A-18. Thank you for making it happen.

I'm super excited about this one! Just last week enjoyed the Blue Angels fly a hight sky demo. The iconic Blue Angel scheme with yellow is perfect for any kind of sky, grey, high cloudy, and blue sky. I have grey jets and they're always difficult to see in the sky (even on a clear day) the only reason I see the gray in high demand is to mod and change livery scheme, which caters to modelers rather than actual flying pilots. Everyone that has ever flown a scale jet knows the visibility on a Blue Angel scheme is perfection and practical for flying! (The iconic scheme was designed for easy visibility for on looking crowds to follow) This C model is at a perfect time as they are being retired. Thank you Alpha for listening to our requests, once again outstanding job!

Wow! Thats a pretty bold statement Brinka.

I enjoy putting my own paint scheme on my planes but I never realized until you pointed it out that I was not an "actual flying pilot".
