This project is absolutely amazing to me. Maybe you should tackle the LX SR-71 in the future or the F117😱 always wanted a flying cheese wedge

I actually tackled the F-117 already, and it’s a surprisingly good flyer when setup correctly! It’s on the bench right now due to a dead aileron servo, but it is very well behaved in the air. Flies similarly to a pop wing with a giant speed brake on it :). I switched out the power system for an FMS 12 blade 4S fan, added spars, electric retracts, shock struts, and sequenced gear doors.

That’s awesome I’ve always thought that would actually fly really good. I would guess it feels like a race wing with really bad drag.

I remember my LX F-117 years ago...Bone stock...Was a slug in the air but I recall it flew decent. Tons of drag.

It’s still happening, but it’s on the back burner now. I bought a house, moved, and had a lot of travel for work. My time for projects has been pretty limited these last few months.

You made a tremendous effort at a time when it was so needed. You should be applauded for it. I almost went your route myself, but then, it involved Banana Hobby, so it never happened.
