Since I am here, I want to let you know that the FMS Predator 120A ESC and the Flyfun v5 120A ESC are exactly the same, just with different branding. And they work exactly how I needed them to for Reverse Thrust. (I still have to power the throttle all the way up manually after flipping the switch, but beggars can't be choosers)
Thanks for the link you posted, Evan D. These are hard to find in stock, so when they are available, I buy them up. Why are you buying so many ESCs you ask? Because these could go out of production at anytime and they work exactly how I need them to. I use my stock of ESCs for the kits that do not come with throttle reversing.
As a follow up question, is it bad to use an ESC that supports more amps than the inrunner or outrunner require? Will the motor only use as much amperage as it needs, or could I burn up the motor? I am too scared to try it, so that's why I'm asking.
