A-10 Thunderbolt II V3 Twin 64mm High Performance EDF Jet - PNP from Freewing - FJ11711P

Renowned for its battlefield dominance, the A-10 Thunderbolt II, affectionately known as the "Warthog," is one of the most iconic Close Air Support aircraft ever built. Freewing proudly presents the all-new A-10 Thunderbolt II V3 Twin 64mm, completely redesigned and retooled with larger dimensions, updated aerodynamics and stunning scale fidelity. This model combines jaw-dropping realism and commanding presence with a thrilling EDF flight experience rarely seen at this size.

Setup and transport are effortless with screwless, quick-release wings that lock securely in place and auto-connect the electronics. A spring-loaded battery hatch and durable plastic-cladded compartment make battery changes fast and hassle-free, while glueless assembly and simplified wiring get you in the air even sooner.

Scale realism is unmatched, with CNC-machined shock-absorbing retracts, highly detailed panel lines and rivets, and authentic gear doors. A daylight-bright LED lighting package, including formation, navigation, strobe, and nose-gear landing lights, brings every detail to life, while the full sliding-rail armament package and hand-painted pilot figure add mission-ready authenticity.

In the air, the Freewing A-10 shines during scale maneuvers, from low-level Close Air Support runs and precision passes to tight turns and coordinated formation flying. Every flight showcases the Warthog’s commanding presence and immersive EDF performance, making this all-new model the ultimate scale experience.

    Screwless, Quick-Release Wings

Forget hunting for tools or tiny screws. With a press of the push-button latches the wings snap firmly into place, and the built-in connectors automatically hook up the electronics. Setup and teardown become a quick, satisfying part of every flight session.
    Realistic Scale Armament

The Freewing A-10 64mm comes fully loaded with a complete suite of scale weapons that slide effortlessly into place on the rail system. Each piece attaches and removes in seconds, letting you outfit the Warthog for a mission-ready look or strip it down for lighter, high-performance sorties.
    Brilliant Scale Lighting Package

The fully integrated daylight-bright LED lighting system brings the A-10 to life with incredible scale accuracy. Formation, landing, navigation, strobe, and beacon lights enhance realism and make every detail stand out, both in the air and on the ground.
    Easy-Install Motor Pod

The motor pod screws in place easily, and the neatly organized motor wiring makes connecting both motors fast and simple.
    Scale Retracts with CNC-Machined Struts

The retractable landing gear features CNC-machined struts with built-in shock absorption for smooth, realistic operation. Every takeoff and landing looks and feels true to scale, enhancing the authenticity of the A-10.
    Highly Detailed Surface

The A-10’s surface bursts with scale realism, featuring crisp panel lines, authentic rivets, and finely crafted details. Every curve and contour captures the look of the full-size aircraft, making it a standout on the ground and in the air.

In one of the videos, Wes said it has the same power system as the twin 64mm F14. This A10 has outrunners, and the F14 has inrunners.

I would also like to know if it’s inrunner motors or outrunners. I know it states outrunners above but mistakes happen.

It also says outrunner in the manual so I'm sure it is.

Hey guys are any of you experiencing the nose gear door popping out of place when it opens? I just finished putting it together and extended the gear for the first time and the nose gear door pops out of place (front hinge only) every time. I have to pop it back in. I created a support ticket but just thought I’d ask here to save both my time and theirs. Thanks.

Received my V3 A10 last week, after maidening then flying pattern with another brands 64mm A10 I decided to go inrunner. Now I was flying full ordinance he was clean but I couldn’t keep up, now talk about a trainer like flier yes she is very very scale flier. Took mine up today for the inrunner remaiden and a very very noticeable difference in a great way. I went duel 64 inrunners from the Banshee upgrade dept paired with 80amp esc’s and a 5amp external BEC. Gets up super fast along with an easy 4:30-5min flights on a SMC 5200 green label pack. Decided to do some scale missile bomb and rocket pods, here’s a few pics before I add more.
