Looks good urrl! I really dig the drop tanks.
Nerdy fact- the F-22 has RED anti-collision lights in its 3-light assemblies on the wingtip. There's forward-facing red/green (respectively) position lights, 360° red A/C's, and rear-facing white position lights. It also has several pilot-switchable modes for the lighting.
I did the red/green positions and red A/C's on my V1 Raptor... plus ran servo extensions for the ailerons/flaps (replacing the ribbon cable)--what a nightmare it was to pull all those through the channel. There's either a hard bend in there, or maybe the pocket for the wing spar is in the way... Idk. But Freewing is definitely installing the ribbon cables before the fuselage is glued together.

Yes I was faced with that problem also. I used the wing spar to punch a hole through the side of the fuse to route wires into the battery bay. You are correct with the collision lights also. I took out the white and soldered in red ones!Originally posted by airmanhurley View PostLooks good urrl! I really dig the drop tanks.

Crazy maiden. First I misinterpreted manual neutral elevator position. Had to trim to full up on Tx to keep it flying. Landed safely BUT steering malfunctioned. Discovered upon landing nose gear lost the steering set screw somewhere on the runway. I could not find it so I jerry rigged the nose gear for the next flights. Last landing was best with the drop tanks. Video coming.

The CG was perfect. I misinterpreted the manual diagram on the neutral elevator position causing it to dive until i ran out of up elevator trim on the Tx. I said this on my previous post. I adjusted the neutral position as seen on the video and the second flight went well even with drop tanks. The pylons themselves are part of the wing tanks.Originally posted by xviper View PostThat first take off was kinda scary. Did you have a severe rearward CG? Where did you get the wing tanks and pylons? They look neat.
Wing tanks are from F-16 V2. I happened to have an extra set of F16 wings so I removed the pylon anchors and glued them into F22 wings.

I fly with stab position in close-up in my video. The manual has a pic which I misinterpreted. If you look at it more carefully than I did you should not have a problem like I did. I presumed to measure from a center seam of the styrofoam instead of the bottom of it. Big mistake.Originally posted by flyjets01@gmail.com View PostUrrl that was a good save I figured the Stabs were wrong haven't got mine yet should be here by Wed. Is there a clear defined way to center the Stab?

Another big problem I encountered was not mixing flap-elevator adjustment. On the second flight as I tried to land the jet balooned up when I used flaps so I landed without them.
I just now figured out a way to do it on my T6k but hope to try it this Saturday. Here are the settings I am trying. I think they may have wired my jet wrong as you would think MASTR would be FLAP instead of GER and Slave would be ELEV. Weirdly FLAP won't show up in the MASTR setting on my Tx.
