Turning out pretty good! Did you notice some rough texture on the foam surface when you peeled off the factory decals? I am playing around with different methods of painting foam and I can't get around how bad the foam surface looks when the decals are removed.Comment

Very nice. What lighting system did you use?
Mine is grounded due to a failed gear. Flew it one day, and it was fine. Put it together the next and one of the gear was inop. Waiting for replacement to get in stock. Or if anyone knows of better replacement gear I'd love to know.

I know what I will be watching during my lunch break today! I am looking to improve my method of painting foam before I repaint my new E-Flite Cherokee. I had good results in the past on foam, but repainting my Parkzone Archer this summer didn't turn out well. It was bad enough to make me rethink my methods before attempting the Cherokee. Painting white seems to be the biggest issue. I had been using the natural foam in the past instead of painting white over it. The Archer was the first time I decided to paint the entire plane white and that is when I realized I wasn't happy with the results. Painting other colors over already painted foam (example would be the red tails and wing tips on an OD B-17) turned out very well. White over natural foam turned out horrible. Greatly looking forward to your video as your results indicate you are one that I can surely learn from!Comment
