I've been using Corrosion X for years and it really does work. As for using epoxy on an ESC, clear silicone caulk works much better. It adheres forever, where epoxy can come loose from the plastic shrink wrap. Happy water T&L's on your 4th of July!!! Doc

After I crashed my Island Wings Beaver, I bought the DHC-2 Beaver (orange and white one). A club member has this version and I think it is really nice. I love the color scheme. What I did not like about the Island Wings model was the color scheme. I found for me it was hard to see. I easily got disoriented when it was in the air.

Nice shot from last week. Still bring this one out with me every time I fly, if something happens to one of the other planes etc this one never fails to provide!

Sweet!! I'm going to order one this week(Check's in the mail;). I'm on the road with work this week, so thinking I will order Tue or Wed, so that it's on the porch Saturday when I get back. There's some nice Mississippi back waters close. Looking forward to flying from the water.

Those Admiral 2200's are just perfect Lon.... That's what I was running in mine and getting about 6 minutes. Battery voltage was about 3.8 per cell after 6 mins. ESC a little warm but certainly not hot.

Lon and Bryan, be careful of the hardware. It is very very soft. Aluminum I think... So anyways, if a screw is hard to turn, open the hole just a tad. I broke two heads off on mine.

Awesome flight Flygirl!!  Flying off water is an absolute blast isn't it!

Did you waterproof your rx?   If not,I highly recommend it
