Mine falls so close to dead in the middle with a 3000 admiral. The 2500 all the way shows 1/2 to 3/4 of an ounce needed. My hands and eyes are so bad I have trouble getting my planes on my great plains balancer. Most of the time I have to get a little help😳. Had a hard life and a lot of injuries. Lost a 1/2 inch off my right hand middle finger last month to a table saw. Anyhow only other thing in the hatch are my tactic 826 and a3l gyro. I fly both spektrum and tactic. Never had a problem with my spectrum but my dx6 limited me on options I want to use. So needing more channels the price and functions of the tactic 850 was to hard to beat. I have noticed that in other post you fly tactic also. I was wondering if you have talked with anyone using one of the 2 slider switches on the side to set the gains on the a3l. I have not done this with my tactic yet but planning to with the hellcat. Have been unable to with the spektum due to the lack of channels and still get all the functions on my planes to work. Anyhow I don't know why all the difference with the added ballist. Sure seems like a lot. Hey if that's what it takes for your way of flying. Got me worried if I've made a misstake. I'll definitely go back and check mine on the great planes and fingers. I have found a difference in the past. Hope your maiden goes well. Hope to get the flight review soon.

Dewey, The differences in weight to balance the same plane kinda baffle me I can see small differences due to many causes, slight difference in foam density, modifications, different batteries, or just how it's placed on the balancer even the size of the finger it set on. What I don't understand is the large differences you see in some models like this 1/2oz to 2.5 oz is a lot. Maybe someone from MRC or someone else out there can give some insight on this. On the flight stabilizers I have not used one so I can't help much there. I'm hoping to get a maiden soon weather is a beast this time of year here winds 25to35 gusting over 40 is forcast for the next few days so I don't see it happening this week. The build was easier than my other Dynams this one is a better quality kit. I also have to reset the motor timing it's got the good old low rpm surge. Dewey did your vertical stab have some type of brace installed mine had a groove cut for one but wasn't installed I'll get a carbon fiber rod to install in the future.

Farmflyer. No I didn't have anything there. On the horizontal there's a slot that they installed a flat strip there. On the vertical though I did drill straight down from the center of the stab to the back edge of last hard point and install 1/16 carbon fiber rod. The only reason for this is I like running out on the mains during tradeoff and when landing. I fly off of grass at our club. The rake on the mains for this bird does not look like it's going to like landing on grass to well. So I put in a little protection in case of nose overs. My HZ Corsair had a little trouble with grass even after bending the gear forward. Finally I ended up cracking the vertical one day and done the same operation 😷on it for added protection other than just glueing it back. I had decided to do this afternoon konrad mentioning how straight up the rake is. I also added a little more elevator to help. Hope to get to the field today and find out😨. Man I want to get it up. Field opens at one. Plan to be there around 2:30. Forecast calls for the winds 9 to 12 mph. Should be GREAT.😎Dewey l

Cool. They installed what appears to be 1/8th inch carbon or plastic strip in mine. I was impressed. Even on the Corsair there was nothing and I had to put in a strip to correct a cupping in it. Came cupped out of the box. Nice to see the strip on what's considered on an entry level plane.Dewey l

I have 2 of the DYNAM F6Fs, one new with the retracts, and one I bought" well used "with no landing gear. Interestingly, they both balance perfectly with Admiral 4S 4000 pushed full forward, and no lead. The no landing gear one is the better flyer, because of its lighter weight. The 4000mah gives me 10 minute flights with 3.8 residual voltage.

Cool Voodoo
That's what I get with the 3000. The 2500 l have 1/2 once actually taped to the battery end and am actually a tad nose heavy. Dose this sounds right to you. I know everyone says it dosnt need flaps but I would really love to do this mod. I'm not experienced with things like this since I've only been in foam for around a year and half now. Came back to flying after 20 years a little over a couple of years ago. Started back with nitro. Do you have any ideas on this. If so it would be appreciated.Dewey l

Thank you Farmflyer.
I'm really touched that finally someone else in the world believed there's more to life than there own needs. I've been ridiculed by coworkers and relatives alike for helping others that can't help themselves. I've thanked God many times for the friend's I have made over the years doing so.
On another note. Are you using the signal amplifier that came on the esc receiver wire. There was one shipped with my bird. When I contacted motion I spoke with (I think it was brad) the tech and was told it was a throttle reverser. Need with a couple of different tx. But cruising the the esc and motor section in the form explained it as a Signal amplifier.Dewey l

Yea I know what you mean. I think this has been going on for a long time though. My Pitts is a 4th party owner and every so often I'll still have to go back to defaults because it'll just start doing it. Can fly a couple of batteries and then put in the 3rd and boom it be there on rc groups there has been speculation that the receiver has a part in it. Especially the spectrum 6210 which is what I have in the Pitts. But now the F6f. Tactic. But so far the defaults corrected it. I'm with you on something better though. Let me know what MOTION comes up with.Dewey l

Today I changed the esc out for a detrum 30amp and the stutter went away. I put the 40amp back and the stutter was back I went back through the programming did not go away. I did notice on high timing it was worse. Also no difference with or with out the amplifier. I'm using a tacti 624 receiver. I feel you on the (sick day)
