I rebound mine and got her set for flying again, should be a hoot, haven't flown 3s in years. I'll probably pick up a couple of small 4s batteries just for the heck of it.

Thanks for the reminder, After I got out of the primary trainer a Piper Cub that's still hanging from my basement ceiling, this Pandora got the crap flown out of her until I progressed to warbirds. There was a bunch of us on H/S at that time who were all at the same level. I had a thread going titled "All Us Newbies Lets Share" and it was quite popular at the time.

Yeah, covid and quad copters threw me off for a while. I recently joined a club and am revisiting my old planes. Going to set up my old Sensei as a night flyer for the club’s once a month night fly events - should be awesome - I’m excited :)

If you're interested, here's "All us newbies lets share" thread. I hope it still can help fellow pilots out. Man, there's a lot of guys there that I haven't seen around in a long time!

Hi guys and gals! Had an idea that might help all of us new-to-the-sport pilots. Lets start a topic where we can combine our experiences and misadventures so we don't have to search as much for answers. Also, I'd love to see the more experienced guys and gals chime in with their thoughts as well, in an effort to raise our

BTW, I have those motors in both of mine. You might want to upgrade the ESC as well.

Awesome - I will check out that thread - Thanks!

At some point years ago I had upgraded the ESC in the Pandora to 40A. When I tried a 4S pack the watt meter said 47A at full throttle, so now it has a 50A ESC.

I’m also pulling out my 1st gen Sensei to bring to the club’s night flys. She’s pretty sluggish all stock so she just got a 40A ESC upgrade and a beefier motor. Still 3S but around 100W more power. Got a bunch of flashing strobe/LEDs to stick on next …

                  Fun stuff !
