I took this pic before I installed mine over the winter, but haven't drawn them up. (I did it mainly to print another antenna for the back of my second canopy that I have a FPV setup on)

Mine just crashed the second time - at least once I had also a problem with the left ESC. I recently replaced them with a 40A ESC. For the latest crash it was either a failure of the left engine or a problem with the transmitter...
But I absolutely love this plane - it flies amazing.

Hopefully some of you guys are still watching this thread! I recently got one of these second hand from a friend... doing some of the 3D printed add ons... flare dispenser, Radar warning antennas, etc... and noticed that the guy never installed some of the stock antennas and he doesn't have any idea what happened to them. Since I don't want to pay as much for shipping as for the parts themselves and there isn't anything I need from Motion at the moment, I'm wondering if someone would mind to get me some dimensions off yours?? I need the little blades on top of the verticals, the angled antenna on the back edge of the canopy, and the bottom blades on the bottom of the rear area of the booms. Also the counterbalance or whatever it is in the middle of the elevator. Whatever dimensions you can get me would be helpful. I think I can tinker them up and print them close enough once I have some idea of size. I am trying to measure the slots in the foam for a starting point but whatever you can confirm for me would be great. TNX in advance.

Civilian pilot and observer are a mash up of a figure from Thingiverse and another couple from CGTrader. Insignia and patches are waterslide decals printed on a laser printer and cut to size by a cricut vinyl cutter.

And finally the fuselage is getting its stripes. I'm doing one at a time to keep the masking simple. Second stripe and black pin stripes tomorrow.
Next up will be the booms
I'm looking forward to when the canopy is back in stock so I can finish her up.

Two questions from a newbie. One - Where is the receiver mounted in order to set up gyro? Two - Is it possible to use a y servo cable to connect the flaps and allow for a bind plug also - for a six channel receiver. This would eliminate unplugging the flap connection in order to bind the receiver. Appreciate any helpful answers. Thanks

Guys - I just got an OV10 and want to it up in Vietnam VMO-2 colors. Can anyone tell me when the white top wing markings were put on? I have seen one model with them from 1971.
anyone know when the marking was switched from most of the top wing to painting the whole wing white?

A body of mine says that there are problems with the Left ESC going bad?
Motor left motor is not running and I'll get a new ESC (I'M assuming there's nothing wrong with the motor) but my question is: is it a calibration issue or bad hardware?

I also don’t have any throttle my DX6e just beeps at me when I move my throttle even when throttle cut is off.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help with the TX setup. I’ve managed to get everything working but flaps. They just seem to keep twitching and even though they’re assigned to my Aux and there is a switch assigned nothing?

I realized early on with spektrum equipment, if you try to calibrate/arm with the throttle cut on (-130 throw), the ESC will not initialize or calibrate. I have made it a habit when first setting up a plane to make sure the throttle trim is zero'd out, bind, do the throttle calibration, then set up the throttle cut.

I have had that problem too, it's always with a Spektrum receiver, I use a lot of Lemon receivers and haven't had to lower my throttle trim. Something about Spektrum.Originally posted by Arkx400 View Post

No one responded to my post about my issue but I figured out the problem. So in the event someone else has an issue with the ESC not arming and or the motor not running, make sure you lower the throttle trim all the way down. As soon as I did that, my ESC's armed and both motors started right up.
