Hey Y'all, looking at the Page 1 forum pictures it appears as if all the 'clear' parts are "once again" more translucent, than transparent.

I tried polishing my Corsair canopy glass and even bought a second one hoping to 'get lucky' though not the case.

Even 91% IP Alcohol fogs over some OEM clear parts.

Does anyone know of a way to polish or 'clear up' the fog in OEM clear parts?

Finally, a new warbird that's not a jet. Looking forward to the unboxing and first flight reviews from buyers before I order one of the B 25. Look's great, still hoping for an ME 109 in 1600 that would be fantastic.

Just something to try elbee(maybe) u may have noticed modern cars headlights go verry dull after around5 years inthe strong sun.. im sure not so much in cooler climate.. anyway being in the auto trade,, we rub them down with 800 or 600 wet, and clear them,, either acrylic clear( maybe to strong) or a two part auto clear( makes them almost new) this is done 4 roadworthy... anyway i will b painting a bloody peugot tday( hate euro cars) so will find a similer plastic and clear it(give it a try.. ) and let u no

Pretty impressive plane by the looks of it. One thing that stood out for me is the way the props mount to the shaft, so much better than the Tigercat, I wonder if they're interchangeable ?
Hmmm, water slide decals... The ones for the Spitfire were absolute junk so I'd stay away from those. The gear looks cool and you don't have to worry about doing an upgrade from wire struts, nice. Too bad the side fuse guns weren't optional as it would be a major job removing them to do a Doolittle Raider B25 such as Ted Lawson's "The Ruptured Duck" of course you'd have to remove the tail gun position and relocate the upper turret as well.
All in all a great looking airplane, we'll see what the guys come out with.

My father had a B-25 when I was a kid. I have the Hangar9 version painted up like his, but it has been somewhat a hangar queen because I don't want to wreck it. This seems like a perfect solution for a frequent-flying version. Love the functional bomb bay! That is a great addition for a bomber.

Though if you look at the pictures of the Mitchell, the clear parts look distorted, as well translucent.

Could just be the photo, we'll just have to wait and see.

Suppose a guy could pour a plug and vacuum pump some parts.

Good to read some other long time dudes are signing up for this bird.

Can't wait to see this one.

The B25 is a must have for me.as well. But I'll have to wait for the second wave of bombers. I've got a full plate currently. But once I get a few maidens in, and do some painting, the Mirchell and a Cougar are on my list. What a great addition, I'm loving the quality of the new planes. I haven't seen it firsthand but it looks to be a step up.

There are certainly tons of choices. I'm not sure if I have room for a new airplane without selling one first, but I would like to have this one. For me, what struck a chord was doing one of the Doolittle Raiders, maybe Doolittle's plane, or Ruptured Duck with pilot Ted Lawson. One of my favorite aviation stories was this daring raid.

Nothing like a B-25!

Sharing a WWII story with ya. My dad was getting checked out in a B-25. His instructor sensed my dad was afraid of the bird.

So from 10,000 ft, the instructor put the Mitchell in a full power dive to the deck. Once on the deck, the instructor put down the flaps (still screaming speed) and yanked the 25 almost vertical to nearly 10,000 ft.

He looked at my dad and said, “One tough bird.” My dad sat in awe.

Sadly, the same instructor and another student were on approach the following day. Down went the flaps, and one departed the wing. Nothing good followed….

Over stressing metal is never a good thing.

There's actually quite a few cool schemes for the B25. And surprisingly I just read there were some carrier landings as well as the launches. Doolittle wasn't the first, not taking away from the famous raid at all. But it's capability was being tested.

The foam bombs are cool and i like the WW2 schemes, a lot. But it sure us tempting to want to.load up the bomb bay with red chalk!

Have you tried polishing it with an old toothbrush and toothpaste? I’ve used that technique on the canopies of plastic models. That plastic was harder than the RC plastic though.

Well i cleeared 2 types of plastic both soda type bottles the botom edge is cleared . The one on the right was more yellowy to start,,, its made them shinier ,,but did not really help the yellow one oh well

Darn you Alpha . Flightline just had to go and do it and I just HAD to preorder. Hope I made the list for the July delivery. So used to flying the Flightline 1600mm planes. First the F7F, then the P-38. Like others I wish it was a 2000mm, but I like the 1600's a lot. Great presence in the air and on the ground. I am impressed that they changed the power setup from 2 4S for the twins to a single 6S. Will report back on the assembly, maiden and flight times soon I hope. Of course Elbee will probably beat me to it
