I broke my semi serious vow to not buy any more large-ish ARFs this year and ordered the B-25J. One of my favorite warbirds of all time. Will have to send a couple of less loved models to new homes……:)

Nice size, Excellent feature set that kind of justifies the price. Multiple liveries included, including my personal fave, Heavenly Body. Appears set to be the “best” of any foam B-25 in looks and accuracy.

Hopefully the 6s power system will provide better than scale performance.

I predict one of the the skilled CAD guys around the forums will do a gun nose soon, for folks to print. Add some fiberglass inside and even PLA will work.

Seems like another fantastic model to make all kinds of mods. Look forward to them all.

And there is something to be said for a "J" in aluminum, too.

They definitely look great in aluminum! Lots of work though. Refinished my LX in Aluminum, and lost it to an RX failure last year. I’ve got another LX to refinish, but the Flightline model would have made the job much easier.

                    Grossman56 Looks good so far.

I was a lowly line boy at Rowden Field (Beechcraft Service Center) which was across the street from Beech-Craft Manufacturing and Beech Field in 1969-70.

Olive Ann Beech was selling Walter's personal Model 18. It was flown over to us at Rowden for Service and to be cleaned, compounded, and polished.

Point is, I understand completely how much work it takes to get that beautiful 'shine'.

It was just one of the perks of working there for sure, that and I earned my Ground School, Solo, and ticket at the time.

Those were inspirational days for me. Flew right seat in a Model 17G that same Summer.

F106DeltaDart Wow, gorgeous airframe and great work on the aluminum. Is that metal tape (HVAC) or a model product like Bare Metal Foil? Doesn't matter it looks outstanding.

                    Best, LB

Thanks LB, it was done with 6" wise HVAC tape. I also filled in all the panel lines and used a filler primer to achieve a very smooth finish prior to adding the tape. It was added panel by panel, and took quite a while to finish, but the result was worth all the work.

Probably good to keep that one in the box! I had one many years ago that I eventually painted up as a USAAF photo recon plane with a bright red tail on it and the rest in PRU blue. Really looked and flew great in RAF and USAAF colors. Eventually wore it out enough to the point where I donated it to a aviation museum in the Denver area. They've since moved to Idaho, so not sure what the status of that airplane is, but it still looked great the last time I saw it. Wish someone would come out with another mosquito, maybe a larger one, I'd snap that thing up in a second!

                                Cheers

Stars and Bars , are they waterslide decals?

I’d like to safely remove them and replace with RCAF markings.

I ordered mine and I'm excited to fly it. I also ordered the F86 Sabre the same day I picked up the B25. This was my first time ordering from Motion RC! :)

Is anyone else thinking of doing a different color paint scheme for the B25?
