Didn't know that the base version had adjustable idlers. Ok it means you have to take the wheel off but it saves having to break track. Handy to know for the future

The old 5.3 version did not have the ability to tension tracks. All the new 6.0 Abrams have this improvement. It has done a lot to make the 6.0 Abrams a far more reliable running tank then the last 5.3 version was especially with aftermarket metal/rubber padded tracks.

Why HL does not point it out in the manual????

Thought it might be something like that. Have heard of other 5.3s with 6.0 features before.

It’s not to common. But has happened.

Just checked my 6.0 Tiger 1 with metal gears, drive sprocket, idler, and tracks. It does have the idle wheel adjuster. Just loosen the screw and there are sort if ratchet teeth on the back side that engage "teeth" on the hull side to lock in the position. Don't know if earlier versions had it but I'm glad mine has. Nice!!!

I just got the 6.0 tiger. I only see four screws on the bottom of the tank. Middle and back half. I’ve removed them, but the front still seems to stick. Is there a screw somewhere that I am missing?

Remove the Fake tracks from the front lower glacis there are 2 screws hiding under there.
Yield to temptation. It may not pass your way again.
