The old saying “buy once cry once” is very true when it come to HL tanks. Spend more upfront or spend even more to add the upgrades later.

That is a basic plastic HL tank. Not an “upgraded” one.

Motion RC sells what they call an upgraded version with a steel gearbox. Their "pro" version has metal tracks,sprocket and idler as well.
Toucan seldom has tanks with only the gearbox upgrade like Motion .
