  • Tiger trouble.

Suddenly had a problem arise where when starting up the tank it will make the typical engine startup sounds then start to flicker the lights and the sound stutters. When I push forward on the control stick it shuts down the tank. I can start up and repeat this process over and over. Looked inside and found no loose connections. Could the receiver be going bad? I have a video I posted on a Facebook page but can't seem to upload it here.

Not a lot of details from you to go by, but it could be simply a bad battery, low voltage. Either test it, put it on the charger longer or try another one if you can. Stock batteries are notoriously poor out of the box. A load such as a speaker or especially the motors will sag the voltage on a bad battery, even if it registers fully charged.
Twenty six tanks, and not done yet!
