For this one I also took out the 105mm and put a longer and smaller unknown "junk" barrel :-)

IMO it would look more balanced with a larger turret bustle or storage bin attached to the rear of the turret. As supplied from HL its and little too long for the basic M4 turret.

Otherwise as usual another great looking tank!!!

IMO this barrel combination looks much nice and very well balanced compared to the HL Firefly barrel.

You are right as now that I look at it from the side view. I will search for a storage bin to balance to our eyes :-)

The storage box for the rear of the turret arrived today. The bag came with these three pieces. For my Sherman experts, can you let me know what to do with them? Thank you!

An educated guess.....those are the supports for the box that attach underneath it and to the underside turret bustle. I would leave them off if they are not obviously seen.

The description for the storage box on the retailer website wasn't clear. They also had no picture of how the box would look on the turret. Due to shipping cost, I did not want to take any chances, so I ordered 2 different types. I put them on both of my tanks.

I also have a bad habit of picking up these tanks the wrong ways and accidentally broke many MGs at the fronts. I got 2 Mato metal MGs and replaced them on these two tanks too. Much better now. The LED MG is orange instead of red. I am happy :-)

Tamiya makes a transparent orange spray paint for polycarbonates. I’m spraying my white LEDs that I use for muzzle flash. It results in a yellowish color, better than the bluish white of the original.
