I need help picking a Tamiya Tank

I painted the tank and got the road wheels weathered.

I finished doing some weathering to my Tamiya KV-2. Not as colorful. I will just put it into the next battle and let the action does the weathering for me.

From the side view, the HL barrel looks very short.

Thanks for mentioning that. I will look for the Tamiya barrel to replace the one on the HL.

Side by side with the HL for comparison. The HL seems to have a bigger and shorter barrel. Its muzzle brake is also bigger. Overall the Tamiya is better in details. And of course it has the right engine sound and right timing on the recoil.

The bigger gun barrel of the HL is to facilitate firing airsoft BBs through. It is rather simple to replace the HL barrel with the Tamiya barrel which provides for a more accurate look.

Both are actually very good tanks.

The accessories for the M26 arrived yesterday. It is now complete.

Tamiya Pershings are IMO one of their best all around tanks. It drives well, fights well and is very reliable.

Here is one of mine at the last SD battle day. Pershing tend to age well as they build up natural weathering.

I hope my Pershing will look like yours by this summer :-) I will put it into the battle in March.
