David, I’m out there driving around sometimes and I keep my eyes open for parts. I have a whole bag of lost and found stuff I’ve picked up. We even find parts while battling out there so it may be found.

Lost and found on the battlefield today while driving around. The two wheels go to my leopard 1, sadly I didnt find the hub caps but good enough I guess.

Who owns the rest of the parts?
We have an antenna I suspect is Rubicon's
            A U shackle
            A leo2 exhaust grill
            a leopard 2 lift shackle
a leopard 2 lift shacke attached to the hull tab, black, fresh paint
and a rubber pad that slots into a metal track like mato or some such brand.
            Some weird handle or something

The handle and antenna are mine. Lost those last year. Fun how stuff is found so long after it is lost out there.

The Leopard 2 lift shacke attached to the hull tab, black (fresh paint) is....mine, I think :-) Thank you! I hope to come back and find the machine gun for my Challenger.

The handle is off a T-72 or T-90 machine commander's machine gun.

So cool that you were able to find those little small parts in such a large battle field .

Believe it or not, I walked out one time and found one of my cannons. It was the German pak 40 that is camoed similar to the local ground cover there. It was out in the middle just sitting around the little bushes. It had been there probably two months. Someone that packed up the german camp for me missed putting it into the box and it was still sitting there and had not been taken by the people walking dogs and running rc cars there etc.
I also found Jeffs sherman hatch about a year after it was lost as well as a return roller off my m60 about two years after it was lost.

That is one of the advantages of an arid environment. Being in a woodland area, each years leaf fall buries a lost part a bit deeper. Might be a good reason for getting all metal models. Then I could use a metal detector to search!
