              • Pretty good field. I see you borrowed a bunch of prop buildings and such from LA. Thats a long haul to take that stuff back and forth.
Im glad that group is growing out there.

                • Yes! The president of the LA club let me borrow 4 of them to fill up my battlefield. I will do the event at the City of Stanton's central park next month. The sponsors from that city will be invited. If everything goes according to my hope, that they like my event, they will fund the club. Then I will have $ for buying new tanks to replace my tanks. I will also buy more houses and buildings too.

That is really good to hear. Just be mindful of the politics of WW2 era German tanks and even simple marking/flags. Just a thought maybe use mostly American and Russian tanks (Korean War era theme) when the sponsors are going to be there.

                    • Thank you for your post R99. I thought of that. It will be just tanks with white star flags (US) against tanks with red star flags (Russian).

That's a safe way to easy them into buying off on the funding and support end of things. 👍👍

You are right on that. All future events with the City programs will be just White stars vs. Red stars or Blue flags vs. Red flags.

                          • We will move our tank battle event to Stanton next month to see how the City will react to this new fun activity in their central park.

                                    • The Irvine RC Tank Club happily announce that earlier today we received the 1st tank donation: a nicely weathered T34/85 tank and a new-in-box M4 tank. We are thankful and appreciate the donor's generosity very much. His donation will help us maintaining a good numbers of tanks in our tank fleet for our guests to enjoy tank battling.
