Who won the Tank?

The tanks' donor was at the event. He set up the raffle and ran the whole thing. And he picked......my daughter's name as the 1st winner from his basket. So from now on, my daughter will have her own tank to battle instead of borrowing "1" of my tanks :-)

The exciting moments from our guests during the raffle.

Additional signs were made for our next event in May. The print shop was so nice that they printed both sides on each sign for us for the same prices. This month we are heading back to Huntington Beach park.

The Irvine RC Tank Club is happy to announce again that we received the 3rd tank donation: A brand new Stug III with all metal running gears including metal wheels. Since we have a few young teens attending our battle event, the stug III is a perfect tank for them to maneuver. We thank Doctor Anthony Cao, DDS for his gift to our club. He also agreed to pay for the LegoDEI IR battle unit.

I guess after seeing other donors donating tanks to our club, the Irvine RC Tank Club administrator decided to join in. He is donating a M41 to our tanks' fleet. Many thanks Mr. Jerermy Dee..

And here is Jerry's M41...

Another donation was made today to our club. The second Stug III was given by Hugo, our member. We now have two Stug III tanks added to our fleet. Thank you Hugo .

With the additional M41 donated by our administrator Jerry, our tank fleet now has 4 M41 tanks to battle at our event.

I really like the members in our club. We agree on so many things. We will start wearing similar battle tank T-shirt on every event.

The third Stug III was paid for today by Dr. James Wang to give to the club's tank fleet.

The Irvine RC Tank Club members had worked hard on the three donated Stug IIIs so to have them ready for battle this Sunday. They installed the IR battle units, painted the tanks and their tracks, and weathered them.
