Once again, I will negotiate a deal through FB messenger so Toucan can avoid the eBay fees thus getting a better deal. Having bought several Tanks from Toucan through eBay and directly from China (not Cranbury NJ), I have never paid more than $39 in shipping. I wont this time either.Comment

It's the total cost that matters, whether it's $500 shipping included, or $350 plus $150 shipping. The sting of a high total price for a new item will fade quickly enough, and you'll have had the tank you want for all that extra time. At least, that's what I tell myself!
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!Comment

Agree Bob. The games they play is what chaps my A$$. As soon as someone shows an interest, they jack the price. As Im sure your aware, on Fleabay they have a dozen different sellers all under one roof who advertise the exact same item, shipped from the exact same place all with different prices & shipping charges. Who do they think they are kidding? I hate playing games when it comes to doing business.
I have more time than money, thats for sure. Besides a 1/16 Losi no prep drag car is calling my name too. I'll answer that call instead.Comment

I know it's not a tank or even 1/16 scale but it's still RC military and pretty damn cool and I thought I'd pass it along. I bought one when they were $250 and bought another one because of the price.

Tank, the only problem with Motion is they never carry the all metal versions of HL (the only versions I will buy). They have outstanding customer service, great shipping no doubt but...............
The latest email on the "excuse" for the sudden price hike:

I've bought my all metal T90 from Motion...metal tracks, road wheels, sprockets, suspension arms, and idlers. Looks like they only carry certain ones with all metal stuff. All the modern stuff seems to have the metal road wheels. A lot of the WW2 ones don't have the metal road wheels with bearings.

At $99, this 1/12 Willy's Jeep is an excellent buy even as a die cast display model. I paid almost that much for an 1/18 scale display model. The RC gear is good and working. However, this Electronic Art license build RC Jeep is not the same as the 1/6 scale Roc Hobby RC model which has a strong 555 motor and excellent rock climbing capabilities. Yeah I'm waiting till mato up here in the north gets it or motion. Everyone talks up toucan but I have yet to see anything that makes me want to jump ship. The fact that they have changed the price twice now and everytime I want to order from them their site won't ship to Canada at random...Comment
