I first started with painting the bogies. This is a 3 step process that I have experimented with. I first primered, followed by a Rustoleum textured paint and then Tamita TS-28 OD. I plan on installing a Kim Olsen board but for now I will be using a V3 with the GAA Ford V8 sound card. This will be a slow build though.

Boy is it a pain to install the bogies with limited space and I couldn't find my short screwdriver

The rear deck has what appears to be flat bar stock, I am going to use red glazing putty to give it the effect of weld beads like the 1:1

Little update, installed gear box and tracks. Next is repaint and detailing of upper hull.

Decided on addressing the tools. I used a combination of Balsa, Bass, and wooden skewers.

Going to try and get some more work done on the turret, I was not happy with how it turned out using auto body filler, most of it looked ok but there were a few spots where I redid it and it looked worse then it did before. So will have to rework it.

Wade. That's usually my conclusion after a spray. Beauty is, you can always re-spray.

Luckily they are tanks and now show cars... :) Tank parts aren't really well finished so some roughness and inconsistencies are expected.

The issue I had was I added "patches" to it, you could see the pattern of the cover up, and when I tried to lightly sand the area it just made the surface smooth and looked out of place. So I removed those areas and redid the putty and thinned it out near the edges. Just need to repaint and call it a day.
