Is it 3DP, good resin, or injection molded plastic? Will you be shooting nerf Shillelaghs?
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

It is 3D resin printed. Print appears to be the typical smooth finish that DKLM produces. It's an industrial resin so it should be rather strong.

The basic test fitting of parts indicates they should all go together well. Here are a few more "just out of the box" photos.

YES that is a rifled barrel.

Started work on the barrel and mantle. Installed the barrel flash and an upgraded from the nylon barrel support tub to a brass support tub. Also IR bulb in the mantle. Simple enough process if one takes there time.

Feel free to ask any questions regarding the process.

Tested the turret function for flash, recoil, elevation and IR firing. All functions worked. Then went on to the dreaded part of the turret build adding the mantle cover. Ended up not being overly complicated just time consuming.

Testing flash and recoil. Video is posted on my Instagram @ fsttanks. Click image for larger version

              Turret storage rack installation.

With the instillation of the racks the turret is really starting to get heavy and is taking on a nice bulky look.

Next phase is building and wiring the spotlight. With all the options this turret has stock from DKLM it will be pushing the HL 7.1 to its functional limit.

I use the WiFi channel (CN5, G&S buttons) for auxiliary lights, like a beacon or spotlight. I turn the taillights into brake lights so I can use the taillight slot for the LegoDEI lights. I’ve used the launch light for a laser light, pretty cool. A very versatile board.

I see your "backdoor" battery hatch. Great idea!

All I can say is wow. This view really gives you a idea of how big the TCs cupola, turret? actually was, probably not much smaller than the turret of the stuart I was riding in a few months ago

I will be posting the new battery hatch mod once I get to the hull detailing part. Super easy to set up but it does require lengthening the battery and power lines to reach the opening. It's also proving a good way to ventilate the heat out.

Sneak peek. YES those magnets hold really well almost to well...LOL
