For sure, after 1-1/2 days of rain, soil should be easy to work.

Some of the cats escaped to stretch their legs from their winter cages during the field work day and had to be herded back through the castle gate😀

We have been working on major changes to the field. The rivers/valleys have been widened which of course has just littered the field with glacial till in the pictures but it is starting to all come together. We have an area called the farm which used to be tiny and had about 8 boxwood plants but it has now been expanded and has now had a lot of new plants and we hope will besides looking good will be an interesting battle area as well

Just horrible wet weather is really slowing down progress. At least all the roads are in. So we have had 139% of the average April rainfall (which is a wet month anyway) in the first 12 days. At least I got to run the Jagdpanther around outside for the first time.Expecting a large influx of Churchills to feast upon this summer

Cleaned up the last big new area of the field on a rare nice day. Now it's just down to fixing up the established areas, decisions on positioning buildings, bridges, trees etc. and constructing smaller new features like this road and cliff face on the new river feature below the cathedral

There are far worse hazards for antenna on the field especially when we are battling.😀 I generally remove the antenna for the battles but even stuff like smoke grenade launchers on Tiger turrets for example can get ripped off and stuff like tow hooks etc. Our tanks get pretty trashed over a season

It so good to see another A2 in the wild. So few of us out there.

Field is starting to come together despite the continuous miserable, cold, wet weather we've been dealing with. Lots of new features this week like a redesigned Monte Casino, some nice new structures on castle hill and especially the new large rock cliff features along the new river cut and gradual replacement in areas of the fake trees with cedars.

New rock cliff features as new river banks. Helps stabilize the glacial till from rolling into the river during this endless rain. Hopefully we can over the course of the year use some more of the large rocks to improve the field
